Southern Evangelical Seminary and Bible College offers a range of Master of Arts (M.A.) degrees as well as a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the Philosophy of Religion through the Norman L. Geisler Graduate School of Apologetics, named for SES co-founder Dr. Norman Geisler. The seminary also offers two Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degrees and a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) in Apologetics. Southern Evangelical Bible College offers the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with a major in Religious Studies. Each degree and certificate is infused with apologetics and all are offered via our immersive digital campus experience. Alumni have served in ministries such as Norm Geisler International Ministries, Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Samaritan’s Purse, CrossExamined.org, and Ratio Christi; as heads of their own ministries; as high school teachers, evangelists, missionaries, and various pastoral positions.
SES offers for-credit Graduate and Undergraduate Certificates in a variety of areas of study. Each certificate is designed to prepare professionals or lay persons to more effectively proclaim and defend the Gospel. Certificate courses may be used towards a future SES degree. Upon completion, students are invited to participate in the SES commencement ceremony as a certificate program graduate. In addition, Master of Arts students (excluding M.A.R. and M.A.C.A.) may add certain certificate courses as concentrations to their major (see catalog for details).
